Position Description Position Title: Assistant Professor (Level B) Reports To: Professor / Rector Employment Type: Full-time Position Summary The Assistant Professor at UNSW Bengaluru is an academic role responsible for coordinating and delivering one or more postgraduate courses. This position ensures high-quality teaching, curriculum implementation, assessment integrity, and student engagement. Skill & Experience Completed PhD in technical cyber security, computer science with a focus on technical cyber security, or closely related discipline and 2 years of relevant work experience Demonstrated experience in teaching cyber security topics such as cyber offence, cyber defence, digital forensics, information assurance and security, software security, and data decision analytics for cyber security at undergraduate or postgraduate level Demonstrated experience in developing and using cyber security applications in Linux environments, including on cloud platforms Experience in engaging and inspiring students from diverse backgrounds, supporting student equity and inclusion, and fostering independent learning through meaningful assessment and helpful feedback Demonstrated ability to undertake high-quality academic research independently or as a team member.
