Since its conception over 40 years ago, Full Sail University is an entertainment, media, arts, and technology school. Despite its origins in Ohio, the university moved to its current location in Winter Park, northeast of downtown Orlando, Florida in 1989. At Full Sail University, students can gain undergraduate and graduate degrees within a wide variety of faculties, including: art and design, business, film and television, games, media and communications, recording arts, emerging tech and sports. Full Sail University in Central Florida is an institution with a strong educational focus on arts, media, and technology. Rooted in experiential learning, Full Sail offers campus and online programs designed to help students learn practical and technical skills to maximize their creativity. Over the years, graduates of Full Sail University have made their names working on award-winning films and albums, acclaimed video games and live productions both in the United States and beyond. Notable alumni include Gary Rizzo, Oscar Award winner in the sound mixing category; Sebastian Krys, 12 time Latin Grammy winner and six-time Grammy winner; and Phil Tan, three-time Grammy winner. The Full Sail campus has recording studios, spacious film soundstages, a motion capture studio, game studios, and a professional performing arts venue. All of this is housed in a 210+ acre multimedia complex. There are also several art and design studios where students can study figure drawing, sculpting, photography, 2D and 3D animation, and more. Although Full Sail doesn’t offer on-campus housing, they have a housing resources department, which has established relationships with apartment complexes located within walking distance. The Full Sail University international student community is composed of students from more than 67 countries such as China, Japan, India, Mexico, Canada, and South Korea to name just a few.

The Vietnamese-German University (VGU) is seeking a highly qualified full-time lecturer in Communications Engineering & Signal Processing. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in this field or a closely related field and have a strong background in research. Relevant international experience is of advantage. The successful candidate will become part of an international network of universities and research institutes. Teaching Responsibilities In the role of a lecturer, the successful candidate will teach graduate courses in the Electrical Engineering (MEE) program and undergraduate courses in the Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) program. The expected workload for the in-class lecture conduction is 08 academic hours per week, totaling 240 academic hours per year (1 academic hour equals to 45 minutes). Teaching should reflect current research methods and results. The following modules are potential courses that the successful candidate may teach, though they are not fixed and may change based on the needs of the programs and agreements between the lecturer and the relevant academic departments: MEE Modules: Wireless Communications Optical Communications Statistical & Adaptive Signal Processing Detection & Pattern Recognition ECE Modules: Digital Signals & Systems Communications Engineering The named courses are subject to change upon realistic needs of the programs and joint agreement between the lecturer, relevant Academic Coordinators, and Dean/Vice Dean in charge of teaching. Courses may require conducting relevant laboratory activities and/or advising student projects. Furthermore, the successful candidate is expected to play an active role in the establishment, development, and continuous improvement of laboratory facilities in their area of expertise at VGU. The holder of this job is also responsible for supervising bachelor's and master's theses as well as other student research projects and mentoring Ph.D. students. Research Responsibilities As a faculty member of a research-oriented university, the successful candidate is expected to significantly contribute to the scientific profile of VGU through innovation. This includes and is not limited to comprehensive activities in basic research as well as applied research in the fields of communications, signal processing, and related disciplines. The ability to apply and generate externally funded research projects is highly desirable. Administrative responsibilities The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the development of the MEE and ECE programs by participating in administrative, marketing and other public activities of the programs in consultation with the Academic Coordinator of the MEE study program and the German partner university, namely the University of Stuttgart. She or he is also expected to contribute actively to the academic self-administration of the Faculty of Engineering and university by being willing to stand for election to the Faculty Council, Academic Senate and/or other bodies. Qualification Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a major in Communications Engineering, Signal Processing or a closely related field, preferably from a well-known international university. A current title of Professor will be a plus, as experience and understanding of the German higher education system and methodology. Other requirements include: An outstanding academic record with a focus on Communications Engineering, Signal Processing or other areas closely related to it Proven expertise in Communications Engineering and/or Signal Processing. Strong track record of successful research activities and publications in international and peer-reviewed journals in the related area Proven teaching experience with strong self-motivation combined with a passion for teaching and research Experience in industry is of advantage Proven excellent English proficiency: Candidates who are from non-native English-speaking countries should include one of the following valid English proficiency certificates; IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 548(PBT), TOEFL 84 (iBT), TOEFL 212 (CBT), CEFR level B2 or Aptis level C1 at the time of application submission. Position Title: Postdoctoral Researcher – non-conventional phosphates beneficiation. Duration: 12 months. Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled postdoctoral researcher to join a multidisciplinary research project dedicated to the sustainable valorization of non-conventional phosphates (including phosphates sludges) and the development of beneficiation processes (classification, grinding and flotation or others). The successful candidate will lead research efforts to evaluate the feasibility of upgrading non-conventional phosphates by flotation or other techniques. This work will involve mineralogical and chemical characterization, process testing at laboratory scale, and techno-economic evaluation of developed routes. The project contributes to Morocco’s strategic objectives in resource valorization, environmental sustainability, and circular economy, in close collaboration with academic and industrial partners. Area of Research: Sustainable mineral processing, with emphasis on phosphates beneficiation and process optimization. Main responsibilities: Conduct literature review on phosphate ore and waste processing and valorization; Operate and maintain mineral processing and analytical instruments; Design and execute laboratory-scale experiments for beneficiation (flotation, and others); Assess process parameters to optimize recovery and product quality; Evaluate potential valorization routes for process by-products and residues; Analyze, interpret, and synthesize experimental data to support process development; Contribute to the economic and environmental assessment of developed processes; Contribute to the preparation of scientific reports, publications, and technical notes. Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and students on project activities. Participate in regular project reviews and research meetings. Collaborate with internal teams, partner laboratories, and industrial stakeholders. Candidate Profile: Required qualifications : PhD in mineral processing, materials science, metallurgical engineering, or related discipline; Proven experience in ore characterization and process development; Strong background in mineral beneficiation; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Strong scientific writing and communication abilities in English (French is an asset); Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative research environment.
