Spin-off deal for Bath

Bath University has signed a 25-year deal with the IP Group, a company that aims to commercialise university technology. Under the agreement, the IP Group will provide funds to launch spin-off companies to use technologies developed at the university. In return, the company will take a share of the new businesses and their profits.
