About National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine

The National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine dates back to the foundation of the Department of Agriculture at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, in 1918. Since then, the university has expanded, incorporating various agricultural and forestry institutes and colleges.

The university offers a range of academic programmes, catering to students at various educational levels, from junior specialists to master's and doctoral degrees. The focus is on providing cutting-edge education in life sciences and environmental studies, with an emphasis on sustainable development and responsible management of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems.

The education and research institutes include the institute of forestry and landscape-park management, the institute of continuing education, and the institute of energetics, automation and energy efficiency. The faculties include the agrobiological faculty, the faculty of veterinary medicine, the faculty of humanities and pedagogy, the faculty of plant protection, biotechnology and ecology, the faculty of law and the faculty of economics. These offer specialised programmes in agriculture, environmental science, veterinary medicine, economics, law and technology.

The university is actively engaged in scientific exploration and consistently publishes research papers across diverse fields, such as agriculture, ecology and environmental protection. National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine engages in collaborations with international partners, taking part in projects and conferences, and thus contributes to the advancement of knowledge and practices.
