This table on SDG 4: quality education measures universities’ contribution to early years and lifelong learning, their pedagogy research and their commitment to inclusive education.

The list includes more than 450 universities from 77 countries.

The list is led by Sweden’s University of Gothenburg, while Malaysia’s Universiti Sains Malaysia and Chile’s Andrés Bello University (UNAB) complete the top three.

Japan is the most-represented nation in the table with 39 institutions, followed by Russia with 33 and the US with 30.
