School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine - Health practitioners reunited

A London institution has been awarded a £66,000 grant from the Rockefeller Foundation to trace its alumni. The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine will use the money to build a global network of health practitioners. Plans include an advertising campaign encouraging alumni to reconnect with the school, research to identify former students and more online networking. Alice Perry, alumni relations manager, said: "Our global health alumni network enhances alumni's ability to respond to the needs of the communities they serve. It is invaluable in rapid response situations such as natural disasters."
