George Fox Six 'guilty'

十月 7, 2005

Lancashire Constabulary has applied for criminal anti-social behaviour orders against two of six students who helped stage a campus protest. All six were fined £300 and found guilty of aggravated trespass after heckling at a controversial business conference at Lancaster University last year. They were cleared of two other charges. The group, known as the George Fox Six, are postgraduates and undergraduates at Lancaster or its affiliate St Martin's College. All were given two-year conditional discharges and face jail if they reoffend. The two protesters facing ASBOs are Matthew Wilson and Keith Richardson. The others fined are Rachel Jackson, Joanne Moodie, Anthony Ayre and Rhiannon Westphal.
