The AHRB Research Centres scheme provides funding for AHRB research centres which are a focus for research activity in a field of study that is of strategic importance within a wider subject or disciplinary area. In developing its research centres programme, the Board aims to promote research centres which reflect the disciplinary diversity of the sector it serves. The maximum length of an award is five years, with a maximum grant of £875,000 over that period.
