The European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management, the University of Maastricht and the University of Ferrara have organised a workshop on visualising, measuring and managing intangibles and intellectual capital, to be held in Maastricht between 25 and October 2006.
Brands, research and innovation, quality of management, competencies and capabilities, organisational culture and climate are examples of intangible assets. The workshop aims to help businesses and other organisations better manage their intangible assets.
Intangible assets touch many areas of business life, such as accounting, finance, organisation, management, industrial economics, and policy making. The event hopes to attract researchers to investigate the impact of intangible assets in these areas.
