University of Stirling - Saving the planet

Five research apprenticeships in areas fundamental to the world's future have been established at the University of Stirling. The posts in the School of Biological and Environmental Sciences are designed to provide advanced postgraduate training in the disciplines. David Goulson, the head of school, said: "The planet faces huge environmental challenges such as climate changes and loss of biodiversity. Stirling aims to tackle these head on by leading the field in environmental research and training professionals in the skills to solve these problems."
