University of Hertfordshire - Job worries outweigh partying

Students are more concerned about finding a job after they graduate than partying, according to the University of Hertfordshire. A national survey it conducted found that nine out of ten students based their choice of university on whether it would support them into work after graduation. The social scene was no longer a major factor in decisions about where to study. Anusha Everson, director of graduate employment, said: "It is important that our students focus on their careers throughout their studies. It will give them the edge in a very crowded and competitive marketplace."
