Unfair blow

九月 24, 1999

I fully support the notion of whisleblowing as an honourable course of action in the face of corporate belligerence, administrative malpractice and where the public is misled, but it is disquieting when an incident that was apparently resolved in 1993 is dragged out of the cupboard and presented in a way that is clearly designed to titillate the reader and reinforce the uncomplimentary picture of the management of Melton Mowbray College that the article portrayed (Whistleblowers, THES, September 17). No effort was made to link this incident with the main thrust of the report and it was unfair to include it.
