Stay frosty

The recent cold snap saw the burden of lectures, essay marking and research impact proposals fleetingly forgotten for the delights of snowmen, snow angels and snowball fights. Although the sub-zero weather brought travel chaos and campus closures for some, others enjoyed a more idyllic time - and photographed the evidence. The institutions that submitted pictures to a Times Higher Education competition on Twitter (@timeshighered) included Northumbria University and Royal Holloway, University of London.
