Smith's crisp ads

Marketing and communication studies students at Glasgow Caledonian University, charged with thinking up an advertising campaign for local booksellers John Smith & Son, have come up with the theme of "Interesting Things by the Name of Smith".

These include a series of "round things", including a Granny Smith, a horseshoe from a blacksmith, a bullet from a Smith & Wesson, and a "Do Not Disturb" sign on a hotel doorhandle for Mr and Mrs Smith. The round things, naturally, give way to square things, books from the eponymous retailer.
