Poor little siblings

Young siblings fare worse than older brothers and sisters in educational attainment and earnings, a study suggests. Kjell Salvanes of the Norwegian School of Economics and Business found that younger siblings are less likely to go to university. He will present his work this week to the Econometric Society World Congress at University College London.
