Greenwich/Liverpool/Ulster - 9/11 deaths explored

Some 7,000 more people would have died in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks had the World Trade Center been fully occupied, a study has found. Academics at the universities of Greenwich, Liverpool and Ulster said the death toll in the northern tower alone would have been more than five times higher had all 25,000 staff been at work. A total of 2,751 people died in the twin towers. Using interviews with 1 survivors, researchers modelled what would have happened had the building been full.
