Global and persistent e-infrastructure for scientific knowledge in the 21st century

The fourth and last conference of the EU-funded 'enabling grids for e-science' (EGEE) project will take place in Pisa, Italy, from 24 to 28 October.

This high profile event will focus on creating and managing knowledge in the scientific community, and building solutions which can be exported to industry and commerce. Keynote speakers from the European Union, the Italian government, as well as leading international figures in science and technology, will participate in the conference.

Workshops will bring together delegates from many different countries, providing them with the opportunity to share knowledge and experiences, and to discuss the future.
