In an antidote to our "alumni to be proud of" series, Antithesis reports that Strathclyde University has one alumnus about whom it is certain not to boast. A copy of the University Review, sent to alumni, elicited the response: "Please remove me from your mailing list. Thank You. PS: Your University sucks, Bigtime. Which is why I left after nine months. So, no more rainforrest-wasting (sic) junk mail, OK!" Edinburgh University's graduate magazine, Edit, on the other hand, clearly has a much better class of correspondent, currently embroiled in an earnest debate on whether the word "most" takes a singular or plural verb.
