A group of leading international experts on landmines will work with Leeds Metropolitan University to further the study of post-conflict reconstruction. The Mines Advisory Group, which was a co-laureate of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1997, has signed an agreement with Leeds Metropolitan to work on research and knowledge exchange in the fields of peace and conflict resolution and international development. The group will work with academics including Eddie Halpin, professor of peace education, and Steve Wright, reader in the School of Applied Global Ethics.
