The UK's Sixth Framework Central Information Point (FP6UK) is hosting a workshop on eCulture in London on 16 March.
The aim of the workshop is to provide opportunities to network and refine proposals by gaining a better understanding of EU funding opportunities. Targeted audiences are those interested in submitting a proposal to IST (Information society technologies) call 5, addressing the strategic objective 'access to and preservation of cultural and scientific resources'.
The event includes talks by leading researchers in this domain, and an address by Patricia Manson, head of the unit 'Learning and Cultural Heritage' within the European Commission's Information Society and Media Directorate General.
