Call to double modern apprenticeships

十一月 6, 1998

A call to double the number of people starting modern apprenticeships in five years and to open training routes through higher education has come from the Centre for Economic Performance. The content, funding and status of apprenticeships should also change, says a report by Hilary Steedman and Howard Gospel of the CEP and Paul Ryan from Cambridge University.

Apprenticeship: A Strategy for Growth is available from the Centre for Economic Performance, London School of Economics, Houghton Street, London WC2A 2AE, price Pounds 15.
