The University of Warwick, based on the outskirts of the city of Coventry, England, first opened its doors in 1965.
Academically, the university is known also for its commitment to research. Warwick maintains around 30 academic departments, organised into four faculties: Arts, Medicine, Science and Social Science. In support of this, the university has an extensive library boasting more than 13 kilometers' worth of manuscripts. Smaller campuses are also maintained at satellite sites.
In terms of recreation, Warwick has a number of different student societies providing for a wide range of interests. In addition, the university’s student union is one of the largest in the UK. Many different events are held on campus, such as music concerts as well as visits from guest speakers.
Some of the most famous alumni of Warwick include Conservative politician David Davis, and former Nigerian president Yakubu Gowon.

You will be enthusiastic, proactive and an experienced leader and you will support the delivery of high-quality, user-focused services across our library spaces. You will play a key operational role in the day-to-day management of our City Campus and Mount Pleasant Campus Libraries, ensuring that spaces are welcoming, inclusive, safe and conducive to study. You will lead and support a team delivering frontline services, ensuring consistent, high-quality user experiences for students and staff across both sites. You should be educated to degree level or have equivalent relevant experience. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of academic library services and customer service principles, alongside experience of leading or supervising staff in a customer-facing environment. You will be confident managing operational services, resolving complex enquiries and incidents, and working collaboratively across teams to enhance service delivery. Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to analyse user feedback and operational data to inform continuous improvement. You should be proactive, solutions-focused and committed to delivering excellent user experiences through innovation and teamwork. A confident approach to using digital systems and flexibility to work across multiple sites is also required. The Role: Teaching Fellowship in Music Psychology We seek to appoint a talented individual to the role of Teaching Fellow in Music Psychology, tenable from 1 September 2026. You will contribute to high-quality teaching and curriculum development at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including the Department's ongoing efforts to address challenges relating to gender equality, race and decolonisation. You will very likely be required to teach the UG Level 2 module "Music and Science" ( ), contribute seminars about Music Psychology within our newly formulated MA module ("Research in Music"), and provide one-to-one supervision of dissertations at both undergraduate and MA level. Dean of Research The Dean of Research is a new senior leadership position within the Sharjah Education Academy. The purpose of the position is to provide leadership to shape and guide SEA’s research strategy. The Dean of Research will ensure that the Academy’s research is rigorous, socially relevant, and regionally transformative. The role is one of three Dean positions (Dean of Research, Dean of Education, Dean of Continuous Professional Learning) reporting to the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) and will work collaboratively with other senior administrators and academic leaders to develop and implement the Academy’s research strategy and plan, build research capability across the institution and establish a strong, distinctive doctoral program.
