Give you the knowledge, skills and understanding for a career in injury management and rehabilitation through study in a range of disciplines including Manual therapy, Sports Massage, Exercise Prescription and Fitness Testing, Taping, Anatomy & Physiology, Nutrition, principles of Biomechanics and Dry Needling and Acupuncture for pain related conditions. The course currently has links with football and rugby clubs such as Aston Villa, Wrexham and Crusaders. Glyndŵr University has a clinic on campus where you will be able to gain all the experience you’ll need to become a competent, confident and professional clinician. Staff, students and the general public receive treatments at the clinic which is open five days a week. The clinic has eight treatment beds, ensuring students have the facilities they need to carry out their training. Emphasis is placed on you gaining practical experience in our clinic as well as learning key business skills to enable you to set-up your own business should you wish to follow this career path. The course responds to the growing demand for academic qualifications in the field of injury management and rehabilitation.
