Nursing (Learning Disability) - University of York

Nurses and midwives are at the heart of patient care. They are diverse, committed, compassionate and adaptable with the potential to make a real difference to the lives of those they care for. Nurses and midwives will help shape the future of healthcare in the UK and abroad. Becoming a registered nurse or a registered midwife is an exciting challenge which will equip you with the skills and knowledge to emerge into the workplace as a competent and capable professional. In return for your committment and dedication we offer stimulating courses with excellent employment prospects. We are proud that most of our graduates achieve immediate employment after completing their course. Planned changes to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) standards for nursing and midwifery may have an impact on our curricula for 2019. These changes have not yet been finalised.
