Paramedic Science

Professional Paramedics work in a dynamic, challenging and constantly evolving environment, where no two days are the same. Often working under emergency conditions, Paramedics are trained to deliver excellent patient care under pressure. At Worcester, the University and placement aspects of your training are intertwined, meaning you can implement the theory you learn at the start of the week almost immediately, whilst on placement later that same week. It also helps integrate you fully in to both the university and ambulance communities. Paramedics have to be committed professionals. University of Worcester has a proven track record in the education of student paramedic both direct entry students and for existing ambulance service staff. We have considerable experience in all avenues of paramedic and pre-hospital care. All of the staff that facilitate the course are currently practicing paramedics with a combined experience of over 100 years in pre-hospital care.
