This course has been designed to give a thorough understanding of sociology, it theories, applications and research methodology as well its interconnections with the related discipline of psychology; this course is structured as a major/minor combination; the majority of the teaching is in sociology, including the opportunity to carry out a 3rd year sociology project, with supplementary and complementary psychology modules which add to your understanding of modern society and its relationship to the social actions of individuals and groups. The BSc(Hons) Sociology with Psychology degree is an exciting and innovative three year full-time course which can also be studied on a part-time basis.
