During the first year of this course, you'll study at UWE Bristol's Frenchay Campus. From the second year of your course onwards, you'll be based at the Arnolfini. Situated above this internationally renowned centre for contemporary art, you will be at the heart of Bristol's creative and cultural community, with access to UWE Bristol's City Campus and all it has to offer. You will identify your individual creative voice using a variety of skills-based areas and making technologies. The emphasis throughout the course is on thinking through making and the role of drawing in developing a creative practice as an artist/maker. All our staff are practicing makers, artists, researchers and exhibitors, providing an exceptional educational experience, and we rank consistently highly in the National Student Survey (NSS). Talks and contributions from nationally recognised visiting artists are a regular feature.
