Drama and Acting

This course is suited to those who wish to develop their acting ability as well as study drama. You will study the following modules which include: Introduction to Actor Training, Acting for Stage, Devising Physical Theatre, and Acting for Screen. The course will be highly participatory with a strong emphasis on skills development and employability. In addition to the modules, we will hold specialist workshops in areas such as voice and movement from theatre practitioners, including those at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Students can audition for a significant number of UWE productions in professional theatres in Bristol, including our annual Festival of New Plays (at the Tobacco Factory Theatre) and the Centre for Performing Arts' musical.
