All of this means you’ll be welcomed to a safe, energetic and cosmopolitan campus with flexible, well-equipped study spaces to help you stretch yourself personally, professionally and academically. Whether you want to be a front-runner in a fast-moving graduate job market, or to make a difference and change the world, we want you here. **The course** Our Management courses provide a general management qualification which opens up a range of employment options. Additionally, there is also scope to specialise in particular areas of interest such as marketing, finance, accounting, human resources and operations management. For those that are considering starting their own business, these options also offer a useful, relevant and solid foundation. You will gain a thorough grounding in core areas of accounting, economics, general management, financial management and quantitative analysis – theoretical knowledge that you will use to analyse and solve real-life management problems. Some elective modules in accounting may count as exemptions towards professional chartered accountant qualifications. We will also help you develop communication, teamwork, problem-solving, numeracy, IT, and leadership skills, alongside an important sense of self-awareness. Employer events, guest speakers and careers workshops provide opportunities to meet business professionals. Many of our graduates go on to work at large, global, commercial firms spread across a range of sectors, with about a third entering financial roles.
