You’ll also develop expertise in communicating effectively across cultures, with opportunities during an optional intercalated year to gain first-hand experience of living and studying overseas or developing your communication skills in a relevant work context. You will study in a friendly and welcoming environment, taught by academic staff who are conducting cutting-edge research into all areas that underpin the programme. This means you’ll be acquiring the most up-to-date subject information while developing your quantitative and qualitative research skills. In addition, the course nurtures capabilities such as teamwork, project management and leadership, effective communication and foreign language skills, all of which are vital to employers. An optional year abroad or work placement in your third year gives you the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of living overseas and working in multicultural contexts or developing your communication skills within an authentic workplace. In your final year you will undertake a research project on a topic of your choice.
