Whether you want to be a front-runner in a fast-moving graduate job market, or to make a difference and change the world, we want you here. **The course** French with Japanese (25% Japanese) will enable you to develop knowledge and understanding of the language, literature, culture, society and politics of France and the Francophone world, in both a historical and a contemporary perspective, to promote a lasting interest in, and enjoyment of, French cultural variety. At the same time, you'll also be able to learn a new language, Japanese. The study of Japanese language on this course is suitable for applicants who are beginners in the language or with a qualification up to A level standard (or equivalent) in Japanese. However, please note that applicants with Japanese language ability above this level, including native speakers, would not be suitable for this course. You will develop your linguistic skills in French and Japanese by taking a language module in each year you are at Warwick.
