Anthropology with Heritage Management

Anthropology with Heritage Management students benefits from proximity to an incredibly rich local, cultural and historic environment, in a landscape literally dripping in Castles, memorials, visitor sites, heritage centres and places of special historic interest. Students will also have access to the Roderic Bowen Library and Archives, a special collection of rare books and manuscripts (which includes over 35,000 rare printed works, 8 medieval manuscripts, around 100 post medieval manuscripts, and 69 medieval incunabula) and the Lampeter Museum, a museum jointly owned by the University in which students can do placements and work experience through their three years of study. The real strength of the programme is its orientation towards future employment for the student whether in a museum, archive, heritage site, field school or as an education officer.
