Physics (with an industrial placement year)

**About the course** You'll learn from experts working at the forefront of Physics, from developing next generation quantum technology devices, to the ATLAS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider. You'll study modules based on the latest research, from quantum mechanics to particle physics, and explore the fundamental laws of Physics. During your integrated Masters year you develop advanced skills through working with one of our departmental research groups. You also have the opportunity to apply for a year working in industry. You'll benefit from our links with employers through the South East Physics Network (SEPnet). **Accreditation** This course is accredited by the Institute of Physics. **MPhys or BSc?** We also offer this course without the industrial placement year, with research placements, as a three-year BSc, or as a four-year BSc with an industrial placement year. **About Sussex** Sussex graduates change the world. Our students become the leaders of the future, making discoveries, improving lives and changing things for the better. Study with us to join a welcoming and inspiring community of staff and students from more than 140 countries. **Location** We shape the world from a fantastic campus on the UK’s beautiful south coast.
