English Literature and French

The English Literature element of the degree is taught in English, in an innovative and interdisciplinary way that covers a range of literary themes, genres and theories. The language component is taught almost exclusively in French and provides high-level language training, as well as an understanding of the cultures and societies of the countries where French is spoken. We teach in the target language from the outset and use state-of-the-art language-learning facilities. Our degrees are fully integrated, so the different elements of your studies really complement each other. By the end of your degree, you will have developed the linguistic competence and confidence to excel in the professional and academic world.
