This course provides a thorough grounding in screenwriting for film and television. This enables students to produce a diverse portfolio of creative and critical writing. Students learn to write and evaluate screenplays by producing documents such as step-outlines, treatments, screenplays, premises, synopses and script reports. The broad set of transferable skills students acquire allows them to work in a variety of roles such as screenwriting, script researcher, script editor and storyliner. Student may wish to go on and study at Postgraduate level.
