Psychology with Business Management

Psychology developed from early origins in philosophy, medicine and psychiatry to emerge as a dynamic and popular independent science, providing insights into the complexities of the human condition. Studied together with Business Management, this course equips you with the skills to understand and critically analyse the relationship between people and their business and organisational environments. As well as having British Psychological Society (BPS) accreditation*, this programme also reflects our ethos and research strengths, in particular our commitment to creative and critical teaching and research which has a genuine impact and ‘makes a difference’. Whilst developing a comprehensive understanding of the main theories, branches and approaches of psychology, you will also develop your knowledge of the complex interaction between psychology and business. This will open the door to many potential careers. An emphasis on the science of psychology underpins our research methods and data analysis, giving you valuable experience in designing, conducting, analysing and reporting data, developing you as an independent researcher in your own right. Psychology graduates have highly developed problem-solving, analytical and research skills, and excellent information and data management skills. When you graduate, you will be well equipped with the advanced skills and confidence to thrive in a wide variety of graduate occupations.
