Applied Psychology and Sociology

The Psychology and Sociology degree offers a fascinating and stimulating course of academic study which explores the complexities of the mind and the modern world. In psychology you will explore and examine the interaction between mind and behaviour, the nature of the unconscious, the functioning of memory, individual behaviour in social situations, prejudice and altruism. Sociology here is concerned with important classical and contemporary sociological debates in areas such as globalization, social stratification, gender and sexuality, technology, and sociological theory. It also offers students an increasingly specialist knowledge as they progress with their studies.
