Electrical Energy Systems

One of society’s biggest challenges is how to produce reliable energy supplies to meet demand, with minimal impact on our environment. Develop technical expertise, knowledge and understanding in electrical power, renewable and carbon-neutral energy sources, to create sustainable engineering solutions to our global energy challenges. This five year integrated Masters course has professional accreditation from the Institution of Engineering & Technology. It offers technical projects linked to UK energy sector companies, and the opportunity to take part in department solar energy international development projects based in Africa. There is an extensive Scholarship programme with paid industrial work placements, including the IET Power Academy.
