Psychology

Psychology is the study of behaviour. If you are curious about people, their actions, emotions and thinking; then psychology is the programme for you. Our degree will enable you to look at a range of topics in psychology and how these apply to working with people. Your placement, independent and group research projects and optional modules will enable you to create your own pathway. Our course is designed to give you a good understanding of the key areas of psychology; developmental, cognitive, biological, social, individual differences and research methods. You will also have a number of opportunities to apply these key areas to working with people across of range of disciplines including; sports psychology, education, health, mental well being and business and organisations. Curiosity is a core characteristic of students in social science and psychology and consequently we will offer you a range of opportunities to research in order to develop an understanding of human behaviour.
