Geography

Our BA Geography degree provides students with a highly transferable set of skills and an understanding of the complexities of our world. On this course you will learn how economic, social and cultural processes affect health and wellbeing, human-environment relations, and the market-economy. You will have the opportunity to learn about the similarities, differences and challenges encountered by people who live across our inter-connected planet, using tools such as Geographical Information Systems. The overseas field course develops your skills as a researcher, with the opportunity to undertake human geographical research in international cities. Further optional overseas field courses allow you to hone these skills in the diverse and unique environments that European and South East Asian locations offer.
