Biology is the science of living matter, a broad and diverse discipline that has an important role in predicting the effects of climate change, investigating how animals and plants depend on each other and understanding the impact of biofuels on food supply. Biologists are therefore essential to understanding the world in which we live and in addressing the environmental challenges we face. This four-year integrated master’s degree provides students with a focused training in biological research. You will study biology not only as a pure science but will also discover how to apply your biological knowledge to today’s challenges.
