Psychology with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

The BSc (Hons) Psychology with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) degree, accredited by the British Psychological Society, combines the study of key aspects of psychology with knowledge about cognitive behavioural approaches to therapeutic practice. On this psychology minor degree you’ll be introduced to a range of therapeutic approaches, before specialising in cognitive behavioural approaches. These are used to help people with depression, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder, and obsessive compulsive disorder, by helping them think differently about themselves and how they see the world. Graduates can consider careers in clinical and counselling psychology after post-graduation experience, as well as in the social care sector.
