This exciting and challenging Photojournalism degree will teach you how to think on your feet and produce high-quality content in minutes. Our BA (Hons) Photojournalism course is heavily project-based, and the majority of projects involve working with industry. From the day you start, you’ll work on practical projects to tight deadlines. Digital photography and social media feature prominently, with students encouraged to go out into the local community, engaging with people and becoming confident, effective communicators. You’ll learn how to produce photography for use across different platforms, including social media, print, internet, marketing and PR. By the end of the second year, you’ll have the skills to confidently work as a freelance photojournalist. Studying Photojournalism in Cardiff, you’ll have the chance to collaborate with other creative industry students such as actors, dancers, writers and musicians.
