If you do not have the right subjects or grades to enrol directly onto our BSc (Hons) Computer Security degree, this BCS-accredited course offers an alternative route into degree study with an additional foundation year.
This extra introductory year will give you the grounding you need to begin degree-level study. The foundation year focuses on the study of computing and mathematics in order to provide a good numerical background that will support you throughout the remainder of the degree. You will be able to progress to your chosen Bachelor’s course if you pass the foundation year successfully. The University is also recognised as a Centre of Excellence for information security and computer forensics by the National Police Chiefs Council. (NPCC)
