Orthoptics at Sheffield combines rigorous scientific training with a comprehensive programme of practical experience. The course includes 33 weeks on placement. Over the three years, you will work in hospitals, community clinics, child development centres and schools for children with special needs. Graduates go on to work in these kinds of environments, alongside other professionals such as ophthalmologists, paediatricians and neurologists. The degree is recognised worldwide.
