This option is only for students looking for final year entry onto the BSc Business and Tourism Management. This course has been replaced by BSc Tourism Management with Professional Experience course code N805. Tourism is now one of the largest industries in the world and educating responsible managers is a key focus of our tourism courses. Tourism development in harmony with the environment is a core theme. This course will allow you to gain an appreciation of theory alongside the practical skills needed to be an international tourism manager and prepare you for a variety of employment opportunities in major areas of business. You will also gain an understanding of the impacts of current international initiatives around tourism leadership and innovation. You will be given the opportunity to study overseas on European Union-funded modules such as Destination Analysis, Rural Tourism and International Conference Tourism as two week intensive programmes. There are also opportunities for international exchanges with our global partner institutions through our Study Abroad programme.
