This four or five year programme (depending on whether you take the BEng or MEng option on completion of your Foundation Year) develops scientists, engineers and researchers to work in Acoustic Science and Audio Engineering. You will learn the creative science and engineering involved in making and manipulating sound, whether that is designing a recording studio or monitoring the noise from wind turbines. Acoustics embodies both the physics of sound waves and the psychology of human listening. **3 good reasons to study this course:** 1. Enviable employment prospects with graduates at Bang and Olufsen, Dyson and Apple. 2. You are taught by World-class experts in audio and acoustic engineering. 3. Strong links with the industry, including paid work placements all over Europe Find out more from our current student Elle, who got the chance to do a placement at Glastonbury! **https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhy6YcZfJr0&feature=youtu.be** The full course is recognised by the UK Institute of Acoustics and offers a route to Chartered Engineer status.
