This four year course is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), and mirrors the BSc Psychology course, with the addition of a year-long professional placement in year 3. The first two years will introduce you to the concepts required for British Psychological Society (BPS) qualification, including cognition, neuroscience, development, personality and social psychology. You will gain a number of opportunities on the course, through work placements, study abroad and project work. All students receive training in preparation for the placement year, as well as support from University placement coordinators to help find the right placement. In the final year, you will be able to choose from an unparalleled choice of options including Virtual Reality and the Brain, Autism Spectrum Conditions and Health Psychology. Modules, particularly those offered in Year 4, are regularly revised in order to incorporate the latest developments in psychology.
