Psychology

Are you interested in how the human mind develops over a lifetime? Do you wonder how we perceive the world around us? Or would you like to delve into the inner workings of the brain? Develop a broad knowledge of psychology on a course that can be tailored to meet your individual interests. The first two years will introduce you to the concepts required for the British Psychological Society (BPS) qualification, including cognition, neuroscience, development, personality and social psychology. You will gain a number of opportunities on the course, through work placements, study abroad and project work. In the final year, you will be able to choose from an unparalleled choice of options including Virtual Reality and the Brain, Autism Spectrum Conditions and Health Psychology. Modules, particularly those offered in Year 3, are regularly revised in order to incorporate the latest developments in psychology.
