You will be able to sit components of the NCTJ Diploma in Journalism while you study. MORE ABOUT THIS COURSE You will have access to industry-standard systems and equipment for print, broadcast and new-media journalism in our newsroom, and to our network of employers within the industry. WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR? This course is for students interested in developing strong skills in journalism, communication and textual analysis. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE GAINED The course includes a formal 10-day journalism placement, and encourages further formal and informal placements throughout the course or as a sandwich year. Your units will teach vocational skills and transferable skills in analysis and communication. AFTER THE COURSE You can expect to graduate with the skills needed to work as a journalist on websites, magazines and newspapers. You will also be prepared for a wide range of graduate careers, such as campaigning or editorial work, or postgraduate study.
